The Perfect Renovation Process

To help determine if we are a good fit for you, we offer a free initial consultation to discuss your home improvement project. We answer any questions you may have and provide a range of the estimated costs. A rough estimate will be based from our extensive experience in construction, in most cases this is adequate to determine if we are a match for your remodel.

Once we have discussed  the rough estimate for your project and want to proceed, we will schedule a home consultation. During the home consultation we will gain a better understanding of your vision. We can then estimate preliminary scope of work, take measurements, start design drawings, and making product selections for your project. We begin our design process with initial 3D models and scale drawings. Once we have all the possibilities and options defined, you will be in a better place to make decisions that meet your vision and budget. 

Steps 2 and 3 require a Professional Services Agreement and associated fee, which will generally be determined during the phone consultation.

We assist you in decisions of layout, style and materials. We’ll go through various options with materials such as tile, flooring, countertops, cabinets, lighting,  plumbing fixtures, and beyond. This step typically takes 1-3 weeks depending on your schedule. As we confirm the scope of work and product choices we will review and refine the project estimate based on your selections and the full scope of work. Once we have final decisions from you, we will schedule a presentation with renderings, 3D models, and full scope of work, including a locked cost for your home improvement project.

Once you are ready to move forward with your project and you approve the "final project proposal" we will begin ordering materials and you will be invoiced for a percentage of the project cost, based on project size and timeline. There may be a number of weeks before the project starts depending on material availability. Once the availability date is firm, we will consult with you on a good start date, along with the anticipated project duration.

We have a pre-construction meeting on the day we commence work, ensuring everyone is on the same page. We will be on hand for any and all questions you may have. For projects lasting less than 3 weeks, you may not receive another invoice until the work is complete. On larger remodels, there will be a second project draw approximately mid-way through the project.

This is everyone’s favorite part of the process. Near completion we will meticulously inspect our work to ensure every detail of the project abides by our quality standards. We will meet with you to make sure you are satisfied with your home. After we’ve covered all the details, we will pack up and be on our way, leaving you with the home you’ve dreamed of!
